Summer Holiday full Forest Days for the small folk of working mums, and dads

August 5 @ 8:30 am - August 9 @ 5:30 pm

| £35.00 p.p.

We are pleased to announce for the first time in eight years of operating; a week’s trial run of dates with extended hours beyond our normal times!
08:30-17:30 hours Monday 5th August to and including Friday 8th August 2019
The cost will be £35.00 per child per day.
Ages 7-13 years (younger ones can be considered if a sibling is going, just ask!)
The young folks must bring a substantial packed lunch to last them the day, including any required snacks. We will be offering campfire hot dogs in a bap at around 16:00 hours to fend off any hunger pangs from being outside in the forest all day! – we will also provide a drink of hot chocolate around 11:00 hours.
Send them along to us to enjoy the freedom of exploring a safe forest, running the trails along the tracks and pathways, seeing nature in the full on raw, experiencing the awe n wonder of a woodland, breath in the forest air – we will be doing a number of things to keep everyone focused, happy and skilled up, from fire striking to creating cooking fires, making their own hot drinks, baking pizza and breads over an open campfire, wide games, making woodland products from jewelry to mallets, make a bow & arrow, make a catapult, using sharp-edged tools, building shelters n dens, learning tracking skills and print identification, walkie-talkie communication games in the woods, learn to whittle safely with a real foresters knife, bird n wildlife watching and many more themes besides – the sessions are free-flowing child centered and the activity choice is dependent upon them, days may differ, content may differ but our eight year track record shows that everyone leaves us more than contented, inspired, skilled, happy and ready for a great nights kip!
Please ensure that the learners are well equipped for the woodland: all their own personal medicines, a rucksack or sturdy bag containing their kit (not plastic, flimsy or paper bags), wet weather gear (coat, over trousers & hat), warm hat & blanket (for around the camp fire), sturdy shoes, boots or Wellingtons, long-trousers, long-sleeved tops, warm layers & gloves, a pair of heavy duty gardening gloves that fit them, their packed lunch (as above) & a mug
