May Half-Term 2019 Forest Day session for young folks!

The price will be £24.00 per person – there has to be a minimum of 10 places filled for each day to run, so put the word out to others when booking to ensure we can operate for you all!
Come along and enjoy the freedom of exploring a safe forest, running the trails along the tracks and pathways, seeing nature in the full on raw, experiencing the awe n wonder of a woodland, breath in the forest air – we will be doing a number of things to keep everyone focused, happy and skilled up, from fire striking to creating cooking fires, making their own hot drinks, baking pizza and breads over an open campfire, wide games, making woodland products from jewelry to mallets, make a bow & arrow, make a catapult, using sharp-edged tools, building shelters n dens, learning tracking skills and print identification, walkie-talkie communication games in the woods, learn to whittle safely with a real foresters knife, bird n wildlife watching and many more themes besides – the sessions are free-flowing child centered and the activity choice is dependent upon them, days may differ, content may differ but our seven year track record shows that everyone leaves us more than contented, inspired, skilled, happy and ready for a great nights kip!
Please ensure that the learners are well equipped for the woodland: all their own personal medicines, a rucksack or sturdy bag containing their kit (not plastic, flimsy or paper bags), wet weather gear (coat, over trousers & hat), warm hat & blanket (for around the camp fire), sturdy shoes, boots or Wellingtons, long-trousers, long-sleeved tops, warm layers & gloves, a pair of heavy duty gardening gloves that fit them, their packed lunch & a mug
