Creating a living willow sculpture in the grounds of a local children’s charity rest bite centre! We had a great time constructing the tunnels, dome and delivering a willow-making craft session with some smashing young folks. We also participated in the Year of Green Action and #iwill4nature
Our two successful Half-Term outdoor days at differing locations where an instant hit with the young folks attending 🙂 we certainly kept them busy with learning new skill sets, creating craft work and learning to cook outdoors, along with loads of other activities, have a look at the photos in this blog to get a flavour of our days 🙂
Wow a smashing swashbuckling Woodland Pirate party up in our forest the first Sunday of Feb half-term, loads of fun: wooden sword making, flag making, Pirate den building, ‘deck-games’ and ‘walking-the-plank’ just to name some of the things we all got up to for this Pirate Party extravaganza!
A junior bushcrafting with a forest school ethos day up at St John’s Primary School grounds in Keele. Join us for a fun-packed day of learning new skills in the great outdoors: amongst other techniques – how to create sparks with fire-strikers, how to set up a tarp, shelter, hammocks, how to cook over an open fire and how to safely carve plus lots of wide games appropriate to our forest themes.
